We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Generate schema.org compliant JSON feeds based on your input
• Authenticate your account and maintain your session
• Track your feed generation usage for freemium limits
• Store your feed history so you can access previous versions
• Analyze usage patterns to improve user experience
• Communicate with you about service updates when necessary

3. Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog helps us understand how users interact with FeedRaven so we can improve the service. PostHog collects anonymized usage data including page views, feature usage, and interaction patterns.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, with servers located in the European Union. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.

We use industry-standard security practices including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure authentication via magic link (passwordless)
• Row-level security in our database
• Regular security updates and monitoring

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and feed history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required for legal purposes.

Feed generation counts reset monthly as part of our freemium model.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers: Supabase (database/auth), PostHog (analytics), Vercel (hosting)
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger or acquisition (with notice)
